Dome, one of the largest indoor venues in India, got a chance to host three international scale events this month incuding Pro Kabaddi League and Zee TV’s 25th Anniversary
Pro Kabaddi League
For the third consecutive year, Dome@NSCI, India’s largest sports and entertainment destination, hosted one of the most watched sports events, the Pro Kabaddi League, on 23rd and 24th October, 2017. Since the inaugural season of the Pro Kabaddi League, Dome@NSCI, SVP Stadium, Worli, Mumbai, has modernised a traditional Indian sport by giving it a venue befitting its history. As India’s largest indoor venue, Dome@NSCI SVP Stadium was the ideal location, given its pillar-less open area which made it easier to host the game, which is played on a court. Covering a span of 38,000 sq. ft., the event remained packed with the audience applauding the convergence of all the teams fighting for the finale.
International Real Estate Expo (IREX)
The third edition of the International Real Estate Expo (IREX), was held from 6th to 8th October, 2017, at Dome @NSCI, Mumbai. The first two editions of the show took place in New Delhi.
IREX, an annual show, presents investment avenues for high net worth and wealthy individuals who intend on investing in international real estate and premium luxury properties. IREX 2017 had the participation of leading international real estate developers and marketing companies, and drew more than 4,000 visitors.
IREX 2017 presented investment opportunities in Residential, Commercial, Retail, Hotel, and Leisure sectors. Leading international companies involved in community and master development, residential and commercial complexes, and hospitality groups exhibited their latest projects.
Zee TV’s 25th Anniversary
A packed audience was present at a glittering event in Mumbai on 14th October, Saturday, to celebrate India’s first private channel Zee TV completing 25 years in the entertainment sector.
Held at Dome in Worli, the anniversary celebrations began with a resounding cheer from Zee employees on achieving the milestone. Videos of memorable moments of Zee TV since 1992, and its plans for expansion in the future, were also played on screens in the auditorium. The audience was also entertained by song and dance performances.
Present at the event was Dr Subhash Chandra (Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, and Chairman, Essel Group and ZEE), Punit Goenka (Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited), Amit Goenka (CEO, International Broadcast Business, ZEEL) Ashok Goel (Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Essel Propack), Jawahar Goel (Chairman and Managing Director, Dish TV India Ltd) and Zee Media Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary.

The Presidents Cup
The 2017 Presidents Cup was a four day golf competition. Being the 12th edition of the event, the competition was played at Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey, from September 28 to October 1, 2017. Steve Stricker and Nick Price were the captains of the U.S. and the international teams, respectively. The first two days consisted of five matches of foursomes and five matches of fourball. The third day consisted of four matches of foursomes and four matches of fourball. On the fourth and final day, twelve singles matches were played. Thirty matches were played in all. The United States were the defending champions and retained the trophy against the international team.
Coldplay Concert in California
Coldplay performed at Levi's Stadium on October 4, 2017 in Santa Clara, California, this month. The gates of the Rose Bowl Stadium opened at 5:30 p.m. and 50,000 fans flocked in attendance at the venue. Colorful fireworks were shot in the air, while clouds of rose confetti slowly descended on the field. The stage lights swirled and the switch for the special effects was thrown on, lighting up tens of thousands of bracelets given to fans. The biggest band in the world took the stage just around 9 p.m. and proceeded to run through roughly two hours of fan favorites, such as “Clocks,” “Yellow” and “Something Just Like This.” Chris Martin’s emotional performance was highlighted by tributes to victims of the Las Vegas music festival massacre on Sunday, Oct. 1, and Tom Petty, who died Monday, Oct. 2.
Fashion Forward Dubai
Fashion Forward Dubai (FFWD), a definitive fashion platform for Dubai and the Middle East, provides development, exposure, and a progressive direction for the regional fashion industry. At its tenth season, Fashion Forward took over Dubai by expanding its audience to include everyone who loves fashion. The four-day celebration of style featured runway shows, presentations, exhibitions, talks, shopping, music, and film. The event took place from 26th to 28th October at the Dubai Design District. Over 25 designers represented Middle Eastern fashion. From awe-inspiring couture and effortless, ready to wear runway shows, to contemporary presentations, the event consisted of everything.
